Binary Capital Ship Classification

Today I'm going to be explaining my idea for a unified standard Capital Ship Classification System.

I came up with a Binary system which fits the vast majority(especially canonically) of my research and as there are few contradictions I feel they were due to erroneous identification and/or intentional misidentification.

This system is heavily based on the Anaxes War College System but with a few minor tweaks to the "Sizes" for example I gave a maximum of 100 Kilometers because I felt anything larger would no longer be considered Capital Ships but rather Battle Stations and the addition "Arms" which refers to weapon hardpoints that can support Turbolaser Cannons or larger weapon systems such as Torpedo Launchers and may include smaller emplacements.

A Starship may not be considered a specific standard unless it meets both the "Size" and the "Arms" criteria for example a Star Corvette is 100-200 Meters in it's primary(largest) measurement and is equipped with 5-10 Weapon Systems. 

Another example of this system in action is the classic ISD(Imperial-I Star Destroyer) which is 1.6 Kilometers Long and is armed with 60 Turbolaser Batteries(assuming 4 turrets per Battery giving 240 Turbolasers in total), 60 Ion Cannons(assuming 15 Batteries of 4 Ions each), 40 Laser Batteries(assuming 4 guns per battery giving 160 Lasers), 2 Heavy Double Turbolaser Batteries(These we actually see and these are the eight large Turrets on either side of the Superstructure), and 3 Triple Medium Turbolaser Turrets. All the weapons combined gives us a grand total of 117+ Batteries or 471 Cannons. These specifications would have this Starship classed as a "Heavy Destroyer" on my chart.
